Why should buyers be allowed to leave negative feedback for sellers, after an unpaid item case has been opened on them for non payment?

As a seller, I find it really annoying when buyers do not pay for items after they have purchased them. And what's worse, when we are trying to pursue payment from them, we are at risk of receiving negative feedback from them - but sellers can't leave negative feedback on buyers. Surely the simple solution would be that the buyer loses the right to leave negative feedback if payment is not received within 4 days and an unpaid item case is opened on the buyer. Why should seller's have to fear receiving negative feedback from buyers who do the wrong thing by slow or no payment?
