The winning bidder at $41 emailed me through ebay saying he did not want to go through with the sale.
ebay sent me a message saying there was a second chance bidder I could email which I did.
I did not hear back from this person.
ebay sent me a message saying I could relist this item which I did.
It subsequently sold for $10.
The buyer has picked up the chest of drawers.
ebay has invoiced me for a sale of $41, not $10.
What happens now.

Ebay cannot know the 1st transaction never took place if they are not informed via a cancellation or a non payment dispute. You should always complete a transasction before going on to relist. You cant open a dispute for non payment now as you have sold the item, so you will have to contact the 1st buyer, and ask if they will agree to a mutual cancellation. If they dont reply or refuse, you will have to wear the fees this time.
