an ebayer contacted me by asking a question on one of my listings

an ebay menber contacted me by asking a question on one of my listings asking if I had a particular item. The item she asked the question through has now sold but not to her is there any way I can contact her as I can't seem to do so through my messages and I may have what she needs

Can you still see the username of the member? If so go to the Advanced Search page (link at top of any eBay page) and click on Find a Member in the menu on the left. Once you find them use the Contact Member link on their feedback page to email them.
