are insertion fees charged immediately?

I am just wondering... when insertion fees are charged, does it show up immediately as owing in your account as soon as the listing is made?

Insertion fees should show almost immediately on your progressive monthly fees.

Check by clicking the account tab and view account activity for the current month.
