buyer asking for refund

I have a buyer who brought an Item from me and has asked for a redund. How can i dispuit the refund request, everything seems to be in the buyers favour not mine. Is that correct?

 If as you say in the comments the buyer is opening an INAD case, then yes, the chances are you'll lose the case with eBay.

Best to offer a refund with return postage refunded, after the return of the item in the original condition, otherwise eBay will probably force you to do just that - though they will take the original sale price with postage first.
