Appreciate advice please. I have an item listed to 'buy now or make offer'. A buyer submitted an offer, I made a counter offer, then the buyer made a counter offer.
I accepted their last counter offer but now have an email saying they want to cancel the offer.
What happens if I don't accept their request?
Are they obliged to pay and will they ?
Regards

Realistically you can't force them to pay, regardless of what eBay's policy is. Which they won't enforce, they can't, but also because they won't do anything about any buyer, even ones guilty of a lot worse.
If they haven't paid, cancel using the 'buyer requested' option. That way you will get your fees back and will be able to relist. It might take a few days.
Now you know what your item is worth, maybe not use 'best offer' next time.
