As above, can i remove an item from sale early as i have an offer to buy it from outside of ebay. The item still has three days left to run.

As there is still more than 12 hours to go to the right of the listing in your active list is a drop down.
Click on end item.
Follow the prompts and the bids will be canceled automatically when you do the final end item click.
But as PJ said make sure the buyers pay you before you end the listing and may loose potential buyers if you need to relist.
