does anyone else find it frustrating when you have a buyer that bids in the last few seconds, and then fails to contact you??

i specify that a buyer is to make contact within 48 hours, and pickup and payment within 5 days.  even after they have bid in the last few seconds, they don't bother to make contact. i often have to send an email or call them  even after the 5 days it was supposed to be collected, to see if they still want the item!

can i re list the item if they don't respond in the time i have asked for??

Yes, it can be very frustrating!

Go through the process, ebay usually sends a reminder at day 2, then I usually send another reminder on day 3 or 4, then if no payment on day 4 or 5, I  open unpaid item case, then look to close in 4 days. You will then get your fees back and you can relist.

Remember if buyer paids within the 4 days of opening case, they can still leave feedback, but can't if they don't pay and will receive a strike.

Make sure you have blocks in place for non-paying bidders.

Also, this may help and puts potential bidders on notice.......I have added to my listings a sentence (I know some add it to their invoices) indicating that I require payment by 4 days and if they need extra time to let me know otherwise if no payment or contact is received by Day 5 that I will lodge an unpaid item case.

Good luck:-)
