how long does a buyer have to contact the seller after they win an auction.I contacted the buyer straight away, but have not heard back.

Have not heard from winner of my auction which finished 2 days ago. i contacted them as soon as auction ended with my congratulations and contact details, this has happened to me before just recently, and when I contacted buyer for the second time in a week having received no contact from them, I got a mouthful of abuse from them by text and told to ------- off. so I am confused as to what to do any more. last week I had an offer on an item for sale, I accepted the offer only to have the buyer cancel the next day! whats the point of the rules
