is there any way for a seller to "test the water" by calling for expressions of interest in an item

I have two Ducati motor bikes for sale.
They have been sitting in a garage, unridden for about ten years as part of a deceased estate:
- a Ducati Monster 600, April 96 model with 15 000K on Odometer
- a Ducati 750 GT, bevel drive, circa 1974
Neither bike is registered, nor in running order.
Is there any way to call for expressions of interest, on eBay without committing to a sale straight off?
If so, how would one do this?
