Is it appropriate to contact buyer (politely) to request feedback after the purchase, when trying to build up positive feedback profile?
It is not recommended, some may see it as harassment,
If anything a message asking if the buyer has received their item safely might prompt them to leave FB, but in my opinion if you hear nothing all must be well.
FB is voluntary, and its about the quality, not the quantity, don`t put so much emphasis on coloured dots, your rating will grow in time.
