Thanks guys first timer
In eBay, when a customer pays for an item, including the shipping cost, the total amount (product price + shipping amount) is typically deposited into your account. However, it's important to note that eBay may hold funds for new sellers or for certain transactions as a security measure. This hold period is usually temporary and is intended to ensure a smooth transaction and protect both the buyer and seller.
To get accurate information regarding your specific transaction and fund clearance, it's best to refer to eBay's Seller Hub or contact eBay customer support. They will have access to your account details and can provide you with the most up-to-date information on the status of your funds.
eBay customer support have ZERO idea in most cases.
They simply read from whatever script is 'closest' to whatever the person is calling about.
The best way to get information about funds on hold is to read the information you are already provided in your account,
and to actually READ when you tick 'you have read and understood' things
If you have listed an item on eBay where the shipping cost is separate from the item price, and the customer has already paid for both the item and the shipping, the total amount (including the item price and shipping cost) should be credited to your account once the funds clear.
eBay typically holds funds for new sellers until they establish a positive selling history or meet certain criteria. Once the funds for the product and shipping clear, they should be available in your account balance, and you can then request a withdrawal or use the funds for future transactions.
It's important to note that eBay's policies and processes may vary, so it's always a good idea to review their guidelines or reach out to eBay's customer support for specific information about your account and the status of the funds.
dave has provided the correct information,
However all your listings plus your one sold item offer Free Postage.
It does, provided you have signed up to Managed Payments and been accepted.
If you are a new seller, there is up to 30 days hold before funds are disbursed, to ensure you are a reputable seller.
I have read that if tracking shows as delivered and the buyer has left positive feedback, you might be able to get the funds released earlier, but I have no idea if that is true.
Yes it does.
