sold a 110cc quad (buy it now), failed to put in description carbie leaked but wasn't a big issue as you tap it and it stops. Buyer was told when he came to pick up but brought anyway. he now tells me after he left netural feedback and i asked why that apparently there was a swing arm broken and i knew and lied (not true) and that he's goiing to take me to court. What are my rights and should i do anthing? Last email i sent i said "shall we leave it in the hands of others then?" as it just seemed like a 'he said she said' dispute.

As it was a pick up item they should have looked and checked it all out before handing over the cash.

Not much different to a garage sale as they could have just walked away and kept their money if they were not happy after inspecting it.

Going to court would only please the lawyers for the money they pay them to get nothing for them self out of it.
