unregistered post

we sold an item to a long-time buyer, private feedback, sent untracked . They said they didn't receive but the privacy made us suspicious. A friend showed us ebay and google seraches for items they bought . That buyer has a lot of bad luck using unregistered mail.  We don't know how to prove anything other than lots of missing parcels for them, and we think they may possibly resell .
