Why would you not have to pay the same fees as everyone else does?
Free to list does not mean free if it sells
Two totally different things
You do not pay listing fees
You DO pay fees on every item that sells
How do you mean 'drop pay' ?
Did you read any of the basic policies for sellers that you ticked you had read and understood when you started selling?

I think OP means drip-feed.
eBay is a business. Of course you will be charged fees. Did you read the information on the selling fees before you listed an item? https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/fees-credits-invoices-overview?id=4070 (Read each linked page on this Fees overview page.)
Additionally… you must be signed up to Managed Payments in order to receive payments for your sales. See my post here (where I included links to the relevant eBay help pages): https://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Buying/closing-payment-and-ebay-account/m-p/2487697#M128876
You will be classed by eBay as a new seller. That means your funds will be withheld for 21 days (at least) until eBay is satisfied that you are a legitimate seller and are following the seller requirements. Once you become viewed as a regular seller without any issues, the holds will no longer apply - unless you cease selling regularly and are seen once again as a new seller in eBay’s eyes.
