Hi Sellers
I appreciate your hard work helping people out when we are trying to get our heads around selling!
I just posted a new ad and when I looked at it there was an offer for buyers to get 10% off by typing in a code. I am not the one offering this discount, I presume it is an eBay thing. (And of course it's not there now!)
I am sure I have seen this discussed before but don't want to get a naughty note sent to my mother for resurrecting a dead thread!
So, is it true that when these types of discounts appear the seller gets their full due and eBay/whoever foots the discount?
On a different note - is there a glitch at the moment... of course there is, I just remembered it's Friday... the glitch I am seeing is really long blank ads - is it eBay or just me?
Thanks everyone for your help. You rock!

The 10% is an ebay thing....we sellers get the full purchase price which we wanted. I sold something last night and got the full price for it.The buyer may have received the discount.
Yes, I'm sure the ebay gremlins are out and about and are playing up!!

Hi Sandra
Thanks for your reply. I do so like being reassured.
As for the gremlins, I think they started early this week. I hope it gets sorted out soon. Too messy to have a platform that doesn't work properly!

Haha and now reading through my emails I have received the 10% discount offer >.<
That is heartening to know it is a genuine offer from eBay (if paid by PayPal). phew!!
