90 day hold, in order to lift PayPal payment hold.

Hello,

I've just started selling and I was told by paypal that I have to wait till 90 days before they will lift the PayPal payment hold on all my funds.

Its hard enough having to wait 21 days for payments to clear even though I have posted the item and received feedback from the transactions.

I've got items that I need to pay postage for and fees to pay ebay with.

Just wanting some advice or if there is someway for PapPal to release the hold on my account instead of waiting the 90 days.

Thanks!

90-days sounds a bit rich...

Do you have any other long term ebay selling accounts that are in good standing?

If so you can ask them to consider those and release your funds.

If they won't play ball open a case with the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service).

That should get it done. Worked for me. But we do have other long term accounts too.

Upload tracking numbers to PayPal as well as eBay and they should automatically release those funds early. If you have tracking numbers that show as being delivered, ring PayPal and give them the tracking numbers. They should release your funds while you're on the phone.

If you are NEW to selling on eBay, then the 21 day (maximum) hold on funds will apply for 90 days after your first successful sale.
