Yesterday I listed two expensive items with start prices of $500. I bought them for approx $5000 each and they are bnib.
Last night I watched on my screen powerless as someone cancelled my bids, ended the listing, relisted them with buy it now prices and bought them all in the space of 3 minutes!!!
When I rang Ebay they said that it was not from their end and it had all come from my IP address.
This morning I rang the 'buyer' and told him that my account had been hacked and the items are not longer for sale.
He has left shocking feedback.
Ebay have not acted in any way.
Anyone had this problem?

Have they actually paid fro the items?
If they haven't go through the unpaid item dispute process after 4 days if you haven't managed to sort things out through ebay by then.
Do you have a wireless connection and do you have enough security on your modem and/or router to prevent somebody using your service from outside your house? That would be the only way I know that they could do it with the same isp address unless they were physically in your house.
If it is the same isp then ebay have no way of confirming that you did not make the changes, they can only act on the evidence.
If they have paid then presumably they will have to come and pick them up so as hacking is a criminal offence I would be reporting it to the police and informing the buyer that is what you are going to do.
Incidentally do you realise that COD means cash on delivery, not cash on pick up.

Does Ebay monitor these discussion boards guys?
These boards are not monitored by ebay in any way. The responders here are just members like yourself who try to help with problems.
Instead of just saying ebay don't care and you will never use it again, you need to sort this problem out. They really are helpful if you approach it in the right way without ranting at them.
While you are sure no-one else has access to your computer, is it possible that your account has been compromised through your phone or ipad?

He appears to have left a neg for one seller, claiming the item do not work, before it had even been posted.

I am the only one who knew my password. I have not shared it with anyone so definitely IP hijacked.
Sounds like you have an unprotected ISP address,(it's not password locked).
Which means anyone can log into your ISP address.
That means there is a big chance that you have a downloaded Trojan so you need to do a complete spyware and virus scan,(changing your passwords will achieve nothing if they can still access your account).
Nobody, absolutely nobody has access to my ebay account.
Sounds like you have your password saved and/or you have automatic fill in on,:|
Or the Trojan after getting the info has relayed the info back to the hacker.
None of these puts eBay at fault as your ISP is what you connect with, not eBay.

in the feedback left for others... your buyer left 3 negs for the one newbie seller ALSO a meile cooktop, oven, and microwave.
The listings for these 3 items are marked ~ This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold.
I'm going to make an assumption here that the same thing happened to THAT seller that happened to you, as each listing had multiple bids, so to end early is a suprise.
This is very strange. Very strange indeed. ?:|
Do as Foxy says up there ^^^ and RING NOW.
then please let us know how it turns out for you.
GOOD LUCK :-x
also, you would have the buyers address, so im also going to make the assumption that the buyers account is also hijacked!

Double check your PayPal and change to password using a copy and paste system not the keyboard.
If they have got into your phone etc then they may be able to see keystrokes.
P.S. not sure if this applies to Ipads etc

Spent 45 minutes on hold only to be transfered to someone who was supposedly able to help me then hung up on!!!
Grrrrr!
Will try again tonight
Thanks everyone for your encouragment and great ideas to enhance security
.
I went to the police station today and they took a report.
I did notice this buyer must have done something similar to another Miele seller.
I will not stop till I get my charges for this 'sale' taken away, ebay takes off that rotten feedback and they take his account away from him. I know he can just open another account but on principle.
