not sure if a postie can answer this so i'll ask here
my time selling here i never had any chargebacks.. sticking with standard postage
but there are times with expensive items i wanna cover my rrrrs
it will be a pick-up listing, and will offer to post the item via AP to anywhere in oz
...and would cooperate with their courier if need be.
so PP payment option will have to be offered.
i intend to use empty wine boxes for the packaging as it fits well for A4 size magazines...not sure if C&S parcels can handle this kind of weight?
i know there are answers on this board but with all postage threads around lately ive forgotten where it is.
am i better off sticking with using these wine boxes, and which AP service for PP seller protection, whats the cheapest?
thanx

hmm dont think even the largest size C&S box would be economical enough for magazines
140mm isnt all that deep and i thought placing mags side by side might be ok but alas the box is only 305mm wide - the mags are 210mm in width. thanx anyway shy. up to 15kg at around 16 bucks aint bad in those boxes for other items, pity.
so, i'll just have to phone in AP the dimensions of my boxes and weight (tracking for PP? for a quto to the furtherest distance from my location and take it from there

Well the only other thing I can suggest is to box them, your own packaging, and put the box/es in one of those giant mailers from the post office, its cheaper to post as a parcel when they can`t cube the box, you can still lodge via click and send, choosing your own packaging (satchel or other) do not choose "box", process and print out your label, the only difference is you pay over the counter.

A4 is 295 x 210, so you should be able to fit two in a B4 side by side. That would be 420 x 295.
Postage for a B4 will be $15.05 in half an hour.

yea i read it wrong, its 430mm in width actually, little bit of play there too which make it much better for sealing the item with plastic.
so.. approx i would need 6 of those boxes at 16.45 anywhere in oz which amounts to $98.70. all up.. wow! thats way cheaper then a courier
one quoted me a rough estimate of $53.17 for one of my wine box dimensions at 15kg, no insurance.
thanx shy dave

Just to add, you can get a discount on the boxes if you buy in quantities rather than one at a time, I think you save about a dollar or so on each one.
