After i have sold an item and the buyer has paid, when does the money go into my bank account?

Give it three days to show.

May not take that long - just check your account daily.

How did the buyer pay?

PayPal payments go to your PayPal account and you need to login and transfer the funds to a bank account.

If they buyer paid by bank transfer it is sometimes the same day but usually takes a day or two to show up in your bank account.

if it is the HDT Jacket, that only offered Paypal. the money does NOT go into your bank a/c

it sits in Paypal until you either use it for your own purchases or you request paypal to transfer it to your nominated bank a/c.

(that usually takes 2-3 days depending on which bank you are with).

you do NOT wait for money in your bank before posting. once the money is in your paypal you should send to the buyer, using a postage method that will give you full Paypal Seller Protection, so the buyer cannot claim 'not received' for a standard parcel.

this may cost you more than the quoted $10 but you need this for such an expensive sale.

Thank you for that, I have sent the item off today. The money is sitting in paypal, but when i try to have a look,its not there.

Check that you have entered the correct email address in your listing. In your Sold section hover over the blue dollar sign and it should show which email address the payment has gone to.

Is your paypal account a Personal account? If it is, you will need to upgrade it to a Premier account to accept payments.

At the top under where it says Welcome, it shows the account type with a link to upgrade.
