Aust Post webpage says my buyers parcel got delivered but she never received.

Buyer said her parcel hasnt arrived.  Looked up on the webpage and says was delievered 21st may sat morning.  She was home but didnt get a door knock.  Can the webpage be wrong and says delievered but was sent back to the post office?  We both live in Adelaide.  Looking at her house on google maps it would be hard for someone to steal the parcel.  Or could they have sent it to the wrong house?

What has my OH got to do with this discussion.....he does not work at weekends anyway?

BTW I am in Sydney so it appears that Saturday deliveries are in most capital cities if nowhere else.

And this discussion has gone towards delivery persons delivering on a saturday

so I thought I would ask if he delivers to you that's all and as a joke,but some people don't seem to take a joke 

anymore,sorry.

yes we always get parcels on a sat and he always comes 7.30-8 blimmin annoying that early.

I said that she should ask her neighbours her house is no 2 so could of gone to 22.  First parcel i sent to her she said he left a card and took back to her post office.  I never paid for signature only insurance.  This time the parcel wasnt as much so i didnt bother with insurance but why would he leave it there.  Especially when she was home and her son was in the lounge watching tv and could see him come to the door.

I never get a doornock. They immediately throw a card in the letterbox. Even at the post office they admit that it is like this. If I order something I always write: please leave on front veranda.

My OH is with StarTrack which is owned by Australia Post....but he delivers in the Sydney CBD for most of the day and in any other area that he is sent to if there is time in the afternoon.

If I get a StarTrack delivery it is usually mid morning and it is always safe dropped as we do know the driver for this area.

I can take a joke.....just did not recognise your comment as such.

My AP contractor is always here before 8am in the morning as we are very close to the depot where he picks up....at 5am.
