Authentic louis Vuitton Handbag - Listing removed

I am trying to sell my Louis Vuitton Bag on ebay and recently was removed due to violation of trademark or not authentic. I do not have the original receipt as it was purchased back in 06-07 however it has all the tags and code numbers and also a serial no. stamped into the leather on the inside of bag. What is the best way to know if it is authentic and how should i list it so i do not violate any policies?? It is Brand new never been used do I need to state that it is pre-owned just never used?? I am new to selling and not sure what i have done wrong? CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?

All of the fakes have all of the accompanying paperwork and ebay has no way of knowing if any bag is fake or not. The very fact that you say:

"What is the best way to know if it is authentic"

suggests that even you are not sure and yet you are complaining that ebay has removed it. Doesn't make sense.

If you want it to be authenticated so that you have "proof" then this is a service that people provide - and charge for. Use google to find them .. or take it into Louis Vuitton and see what they say. There are sellers of authentic Louis Vuitton on ebay - maybe they might help you if you offer to pay.

It is a fairly fraught situation you are in, so get 100% proof one way or the other before you proceed back to selling the bag. If it is a fake - then you'll just have to give it away or chuck it out. People will tell you that it is illegal to own or sell fakes.
