Sold 2 Royal Albert trios for $30 each - I noticed one saucer was damaged before I packed them & emailed the buyer right away.
I issued a full refund but she still wanted to buy the undamaged trio - sold it to her for $25 & included the damaged set for free as the cup & plate were still good.
She received on the 24th December - yesterday I get a return request because "one trio is totally damaged but the other is fine".
So apparently you can now claim for items that were for free & didn't cost you anything.

No way - surely. I'd be onto eBay so fast and ask them to check all the message correspondence. That's unbelievable - what sort of Buyer does something like that - or have they forgotten you refunded perhaps ?

😞 Send the buyer a message that the other set was popped in gratis as you thought it was a NICE thing to do. She got a good deal by the sound of it. You just please everyone I suppose.

She knows about the refund as we have 5 emails from her regarding the refund & the then relisting of the single trio so she can buy it.
Her comments in the Return request are "I ordered two sets of bone china, one was fine, however, the other arrived completely damaged".
The transaction was for one trio & after I emailed asking what's going on she now claims both cups are damaged - one has a broken handle & the other a crack.
Had them for nearly 3 weeks & why state in the claim she ordered 2 trios when the order is only for one - I have asked for photos.

WOW, get her to send the items back, refund her $25.00 then block her.
That's not on.

Stated she will only return them if we pay the return postage otherwise she will live with a cracked cup.
I guess that means we will receive a nice red dot if we don't pay the return postage.
We already have a defect from the initial sale we had to refund & now another one for a return request - I now hate Royal Albert!

She now states that unless she is getting a full refund with postage it is not worth sending photos of the damaged pieces.
She will be happy to settle for a part refund & not worry about sending photos.
Not Bloody Likely!
The Royal Albert comment was tongue in cheek.
