Buyer keep sending annoying offers

Evening All,

I have this persistent buyer who keeps sending ridiculous offers like $5 /$1 for an item I have listed for $40.

They started this on Gumtree and now found me on Ebay (same items for sale on both sites).

Is there anyway to ban them from communicating with me?

(Yes of course I can simply ignored them - probably would try to complain to Ebay that I'm not responding)

Any suggestions /thoughts?

Thanks.

OK, I found a "work around" by enabling Reject Offers by a certain amount.

For my reference, is there a way to block annoying Buyers with stupid offer amounts?

Thanks

Use the link below to add them to your BBL.

Just add them to your Blocked Buyers List.

Many sellers use this list to block anyone with whom they either do not wish to do business, or with whom they have had a bad experience and do not want them to purchase anything further. Or even if they see what feedback buyers have left for other sellers and do not wish to take any chances.

Just copy in their Ebay ID and add any additional ones separated by a comma.

Honestly, the best move on Ebay you'll ever make.

The work around to auto reject offers below a certain amount is the second best move you'll ever make.๐Ÿ˜€

You'll never even have to see or deal with the low ball offers.

Just about every item where there has been this 'make an offer' facility, I have found I usually get a pretty well instant reply. Either accepted or rejected.

Occasionally I have had the message that it has been forwarded to the seller (maybe the offered price fell into a grey zone where  they wanted to decide on a case by case basis). I pretty much always find I am accepted on these (I try not to make insultingly low offers so that probably helps).

But the thing is, I think buyers actually like a fairly instant reply. And they only get 3 chances or at least that used to be the case. So the beauty of it for you is you don't have to deal with low ball offers, the system will do it for you automatically and the bidder will know they only get 3 chances so should up the offer if they really want it.

Persistent low ballers though who can't take a hint, best to block them completely.

Make sure when you add them to your BBL you also check the "don't allow blocked buyers to contact me".
