I had a buyer for a product who didn't pay.
But it seems dodgy, they joined ebay on the day they supposedly wanted to buy and they have 2 different user names. Ebay sent an invoice and then I did as well and then I also messaged them asking if they were intending to buy the product at all, no answer.
I wanted to lodge a complaint with ebay but am unable to.
Anyone else had this experience and is it normal to have 2 user names? Can they be reported?

Maybe the buyer changed their user name, so they had a certain user name when they bought the item and now have a new user name. It is not possible to have two user names. There should be an icon/symbol next to their user name on their page that means they changed their user name recently. Is this what you mean?

Was this the item you listed for $7500?
You can't lodge a complaint and you cannot force a buyer to pay.
If you want someone to pay right away, then make your items Buy It Now, with Immediate Payment as a requirement.
Just so you are aware, high priced items are magnets for scammers who target inexperienced sellers.

I have heard that before, but why? They have no advantage from not paying... Do they just enjoy being annoying?

I hope you opened a "non-payer dispute" with eBay, otherwise eBay is not going to know the buyer hasn't paid and you will have the FVF's taken out of the your account.

I don't know if your buyer is dodgy or not but what is coming across is they definitely don't sound as if they are committed or intending to buy.
The only thing I can see that you have sold recently is that $7500 item where you accepted best offer?
Forget trying to 'report' the buyer as such. You need to pay attention to padi's post.
Your main concern here is that you have 'sold' a really expensive item and the fees on that are going to be high and you'll be charged those fees unless you do something about this now.
What you need to do is open an ebay claim for unpaid item. read the link padi gave you and follow the instructions and follow up on your claim too. What should happen is that ebay will allow the buyer a few days in which to pay but if they don't (and I do not think they will pay) you then have to finalise it and ebay will refund the fee amount.
The buyer will also get an unpaid item strike and if they collect a couple of them they may find themselves blocked from buying by some sellers. That's a punishment of sorts.
It probably won't worry your 'buyer' in the least as they sound new anyway and not committed.
Your first priority is opening your ebay case to get those fees reimbursed. Don't worry about the other things.
