Hi, I'm looking for suggestions from those more experienced than I. A buyer has purchased an item, which was marked as "Local pickup only". Auction finished 20-Oct. No response to my message sent shortly after close. Payment received via paypal on 28-Oct - which I immediately thought a bit odd. (If I buy on a local pickup, I would always pay cash). I sent a message the next day reminding the buyer that it was pickup only. I haven't heard anything further. I sent a further reminder today (11-Nov). So what now?
The odd thing is that the buyer has 520 feedback with 100% positive.
Do I assume that it's buyer remorse and offer to refund the Paypal amount (less fees) and request a mutual cancellation? I assume that I can't call it a non-paying bidder, since she has paid. I'd just hold her money, but there's a good chance that we're moving house soon, and I don't want to cart the item around on the off-chance that she decides to complete the pickup...

Have you tried actually phoning the buyer?
You could just refund minus the fees but as for sending Mutual Cancellation-waste of time if they won't respond to you at all.

My reply to this topic is really not an answer but a cry for help i in regard to a sale I made about 8mths ago. The buyer bought and paid for a Tip Tuck and he came to look at the trucketc and was quite happy. I was to find out how much to transprt the the truck but I have lost hiss address,
My question is how can I troll bech thru the Past Sales on Ebay to find his Ebay name.so I can contact him .
There must be some way to backtrack thru Sold or Feedback given etc but I just dont know how to do this .
If any one with the knowhow can do something like looking back ,using my trading name then I will be much obliged

Pelican, it is a very bad form to hijack other person's topic. Your problem is no help to the OP. I am sure you get all the possible help in the threads you already opened.

Do I assume that it's buyer remorse
maybe something happened to them; I would try to get their details and call, but if there is no answer, I would just put the item in safe place and wait bit longer.
