This buyer has been so negative. They bought one item on 3/1/13 then waited until 8/1/13 and bought another. I let it go being friendly and tolerant. Well that was a life lesson. They took until 17/1/13 to pay. They coplained about postage but itmes cost only 99c each. Post was $12 each. A bit dearer than usual but given low auction price reasonable. Lodged a case of unreceived item against me on 20/1/13 and the funds were withheld. Then emailed me on 22/1/13 to say she had theitems and would close the case but didnt. Yesterday paypal took $25 out of my account which put my bankaccount in arrears and I was chargd $10 by my bank. Then the buyer has the cheek to leave negative feedback. Im so disappointed. Have been suing ebay for 14 years and never had such a bad experience where the buyer is lying and Im meant to prove her wrong. Why cant she be made to prove shes right? Very biased system where buyers can easily lie and get a refund while keeping the items.

Is there a way to block a buyer?

If she sent the message through ebay messages saying that she had the items you should ring paypal and tell them that.

I cannot believe you have charged this person postage $11.50 per DVD (that is a postage piracy), and then did not post them with tracking. You should have posted them both in one C&S satchel for about $7 and would have had PP protection.

why didnt you provide the tracking number to PayPal to verify shipping and claim on Paypal's Seller Protection? surely for the price you charged you did send with tracking?

You are NOT allowed to do that.
NEVER list anything for less than the amount you would be happy to sell for.
That is a breach of policy as a seller.
As for the other issue paypal will not take into account any messages that come via ebay messages but you can call paypal and tell them what had been said by the buyer and they can contact ebay to verify the messages.
Contact the buyer and tell them unless they repay you will give their details to the online fraud squad to deal with them.
As for the feedback call ebay and tell them to view the messages and they might remove the neg.

You and your buyer are as bad as one another so I feel no sympathy for either of you.

Absolutely - charging extra for postage is wrong and circumnavigating eBay fees! This is a direct eBay policy violation. DVDs cost $1.80 as a large letter ...
