Hi all.. I sold an item last week, and, being honest, noted a fault and included a clear photo of the fault in my listing. Buyer has re-listed it immediately as "in perfect condition" at four times the starting price I had listed it at. Is it reasonable to add to the positive feedback that I left, disclosing the buyer's dishonesty? Opinions appreciated, thanks!

Personally - I would put it behind me and move on. You did the right thing in selling the item as it actually was, got the amount you asked for and gave feedback based on the completed transaction with the buyer.
If the buyer themselves are dishonest, then distance yourself from anything futher to do with them. Karma will get them in the end. If they on sell the product and the new buyer isn't happy then they will have to deal with the consequences.
Your conscience is clear!

is the item in your buyers posession ? if so then exactly how what the buyer is doing your problem? and why are you spying on the buyer in the first place? you could try reporting the now seller but i dont think ebay will do anything as it still comes down to your word against theirs.

No, it is not reasonable to add to your feedback.
The item is no longer yours. The buyer has a right to do whatever they want with the item, including selling it for more than they paid (probably why they bought it in the first place), which may or may not be more than it is worth. And if they advertise a better condition than what is actual, they will probably get bitten.
A lot of sellers buy on eBay and resell for a profit. Which indicates that the people they buy from don't know what it is worth, given the buyer/reseller has had to pay postage to get the item they are reselling.
I will state the buyer is silly. They should have another account for selling, so the sellers of the items they buy for resale don't get upset about how much they should have made if they knew how the system works.

if someone wants to resell an item in which they paid for, thats their business not yours. did you consider they might of fixed the item ?
Is it reasonable to add to the positive feedback that I left?= no

Thanks for your reply, but no, the fault couldn't have been fixed. After reading the responses I've decided to take the advice and just move on 🙂

Hi, thanks for replying, but no, I wasn't "spying on the buyer"! I have a Saved Search for the designer's items and the listing appeared in the search!
