Buyer requested to return 2 items.but only 1 item received. what to do? help

Hi All,

Hope everyone is well.

Recently buyer opened a case & requested to return 2 items, but when he returned it to us we only received 1 item instead of 2 items

Could anyone advise what I need to do now?

I contacted buyer to tell him but he has NOT replied me yet.

Do I need to advise ebay that return item received is only 1 instead of 2 ?

Will ebay force me to refund buyer for 2 items even if I received 1 returned item 😞    ??

Contact ebay and they can read the message you sent and can see they have not replied and ask if the payment for the cost only of the returned item can be refunded as they still have 1 item and postage was needed for that as well.

If you call the buyer then there is nothing in writing and it would be he said she said and nothing can be seen to help you win the case.
