Buyer won't pay and gave negative feedback because I did not cancel

Buyer sent email shortly after auction end telling me to cancel transaction as they were not going to pay.i sent them the invoice and requested payment.the buyer refused and has left negative feedback within two days.ruined my 100% feedback.what should I do?

No need to wait until the listing ends, open NPB now, close in 4 days, then ask eBay to remove neg, but first up put them on BBL.


 


You can also do a second chance offer to the next bidder, but wait until the case is closed and dealt with first.


 


They are on mine now thanks to you, ๐Ÿ˜‰

Negative feedback can be automatically removed by ebay after a dispute is closed.

It has happened for me when I've closed a case. If the feedback isn't automatically removed then you need to contact ebay.

Hi greg, awful when it happens, but in your case it's easy - just ring Ebay and have it removed, they will also see the buyer's message.


 


And don't bother leaving a response, as that f/back won't stay there long.


 


As for being judged by your response - I suppose it's true, we have definitelly been abused severely here on the boards about "how awfully we responded to f/back" (not that we asked anyones's opinion, mind you) - except it didn't seem to do us any harm with the customers. I mean, those who presumably read it and were not horrified or schocked - as we all know when someone lies and cheats and maliciously damages one's reputation for all to see -  no one is in no mood for any social graces.


Good luck, but you won't need it as this is very straightforward.

As a rule of thumb , I always allow 7 days , for a buyer to pay thats plenty of time to do so and or contact me if needed. When I get no response , just file a NPB , and get the FVF credit back , which is the most important thing . Once you get the FVF credit back you cant leave feedback for them , but they cant leave a neg for you. 


Its unfortunate you got one , but its not the end of the world and you will be able to get it removed. 


I remember the 1st time I got one , from the same sort of clown , It really hurts if youve worked hard to do the right thing as a seller.
