Hi,
Is it against ebay policies to request that the buyer pays ebay fees on purchase of an item?
Cheers,

Yes it is against eBay's policies, you must factor the fees into your selling price, the same applies to PayPal fees.

I think that by now every buyer knows that a seller does incorporate the fees into a listing.

You can ask but i am sure all buyers would say "ebay/paypal fees are a SELLERS responsibility"

Zelly, with all due respect to you, just looking at the questions on the boards from new or inexperienced members (and sometimes long term members), I would seriously doubt if all buyers know that - or why they can't open a dispute after 45 days or if they haven't used PayPal.........etc etc
There are still sellers coming here asking why they can't leave negs for buyers when it's obvious you can't, and why you can't/ shouldn't (those +negs...) ........sigh.........etc etc
If all members knew everything, there'd be no need for the boards or "Customer Service" and T&S (hahaha)

padi . . . . . . . . wash your mouth out with soap !!!!!! I should report your post for being disruptive and insensitive . . . . . . after all . . . . . . what would the regulars do if there were no boards? They would cease to be 'regulars', they would have no need for 'posting IDs' and they would get no 'kudos'.
Now, write this out 100 times "I will not ever say those words again"
