I want to bulk list items from a spreadsheet. Years ago I used turbo lister with great success. Alas, that's gone. On the Aus site I have to use seller reports to bulk upload new listings apparently. Trouble is, the guide is for the US site and says things like : the postcode must have 5 digits. Also, when using a business policy for postage, it doesn't give me an example of how to enter package weight and dimensions. Is there a way to export one of my active listings into the upload report template so I can copy the format for my other entries? Has anyone managed to get listings loaded from a spreadsheet onto the ebay AUS site? I have hundreds of items to list, and I've been trying to do it through a bulk upload for a year now with no success.

Yes it can be done. In My Ebay go to Reports - Uploads - Select a Template.
It will have Select Template Source - Listings
Then Select Template Type - Create New Listings
Then Select File Type - Here you can select Excel Spreadsheet or Comma Separated File csv
If you select Excel it provides more data on your options but note upload is still using csv.
Select categories - Toys & Hobbies - Diecast - Cars Trucks - Vintage
Download
Open in Excel - It provides info on General Instructions, Listings, Categories etc
Use the heading in line 4 (remove *) as heading for our csv file. The dropdowns here give info what to enter. The set is old so ignore Paypal column etc.
There are lots of little errors in the file that can stop you uploading eg Condition ID should be ConditionID (no space) etc.

It's not working for me. I create the template ok, but when I go to the listings tab it has heading but no entries for my active listings. Have you tried it on the ebay Australia site? I've attached a screenshot of one of my listings showing that it is in Toys, Hobbies>Diecast Vehicles>Cars, Trucks & Vans>Vintage Manufacture and another of the Listings tab of the template report.

Just to be clear, I want to export my active listings into the template.

Sorry I misunderstood your original question. Unfortunately as far as I know you cannot do exactly what you want without having some programming skills. It can be done by using an API to obtain information from your listings, however to do that you need to join the eBay Developers Program and write a script and obtain a Token to allow uploading.
However you could use a third Party Item Specific Scanner (Note doesn't work with Variations)
https://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/ItemSpecificScanner.htm
which gives all the Item Specific info along with the Category, Title, etc in csv format, but not the Description. The Description in HTML can be obtained using another third party "Active Content Bulk Editor" https://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/ActiveContentEditor.htm Import all the data from both file into the appropriate eBay csv template.
The xlxs image you showed cannot be used to upload it needs to be csv. Download the correct file and populate with info from the above sources. Remember to remove the asterisk * from the headings and as a general rule remove spaces from the heading unless it has a C: ie Custom Label should be CustomLabel but C: Year Made is OK.
