Perhaps I've missed a step but I don't seem to be able to use ebay postage labels if
a buyer pays direct into my account and does not use paypal.
I'm getting a mesage saying buyer has not paid for an item on the postage screen even though
I have marked the item as buyer had paid.
Anyone else finding this a problem?
Thanks

yes, as far as I know it is still a problem - if the buyer does not complete checkout all the way through, you will not be able to do an ebay postage label.
So - two choices - you can contact your buyer and ask them to follow through with the checkout - not recommended unless you are on good terms with your buyer
or use click and send.

The reason it wants buyers to go through checkout is for verification of shipping address for that particular order. That in itself is for seller protection as you don't have to check it. Then the system itself checks that basic addressing issues are covered suburbs and matching postcodes etc.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I can see there is a reason for checkout. I'll remind buyers using direct deposit to
remember to checkout.
best wishes

Thanks so much for this info. I'll just send the parcel direct and manually add the tracking number.
A bit of a bother though!
