Changing Listing Category

Is there a way to change listing category from 'fine jewellery' to 'fashion jewellery'. Can someone please help this lady. Some A is giving her a hard time about her listings.

Hi,

If you are referring to moving a listing into another category, I think the only way is to end the item and do a new listing. I don't even think you can re-list.

The same goes for a sub category, but someone may correct me. 🙂

There is a category for Fashion Jewellery.

First you have to enter the type of jewellery eg - bracelet/watch etc.  Then the menu comes up where you can choose Fashion jewellery.

You can change categories by revising your item.

I think that is correct - the only jewllery I sell is Fashion Jewellery.

I think kope is correct - I just clicked on revise on one of my listings to try it out, and it seems category can't be changed.  It does mention a "Change Category" button in Help, but I couldn't find it - only Add Category.

Maybe somebody else can give you more advice on a simpler way to do it - seems a pain to have to re-list.

NO you cannot change the category on a listing that has bids or if its a BIN, you cannot change it once you have sold 1 item from the listing.

you would need to end the listing and make a new one in a new category.

once 1 item from a BIN listing is sold you cannot make major changes to the listing.
