Christmas Sales Down?

Hi we've been comparing our sales from last year to this and sales are definitely down for us.. around half...

we had around the same number of listings and similar products..

don't know whether its a sign of poor retail confidence or other reasons re: problems with ebay..people going elsewhere ie: other online stores..ebay being pro-corporate and neglecting small sellers.. woeful search engine support..

but sales are down for us..be interested to hear how others are going..

What Sales.??

This year we are up about 10% on sales over last year for the month of November.

But this year we have about 40% more listings and three more non-store selling IDs than we had last year.

So on that basis even tho our sales are up I would have to say that really we are down quite a bit.

So far December has slowed down quite a bit compared to November.

Obama and the Dubocraps have all but bankrupted the middle class here on the U.S.. Combine that with the only available job offerings being low-paying part-time **bleep** and voila'! Retail and eBay sales are in the doldrums. Apparently eBay has jacked up their fees sky-high to cover the loss of sales; it's so bad that selling on here is almost no longer worthwhile.

Me also down 50% November and December, more listings up.
Ebay making it so hard .
i agree buyers need a good experience but what about sellers??????????
