Hi all,
Firstly, thanks for any help.
I want to send a big lot of items (around 30-40 things of varying small sizes, probably 8-10kg) that might be just a bit too big to fix in a box. Has anyone had experience in sending freight items like this and which service would you recommend? There appear to be a few options in the eBay Postage Centre that offer tracking an delivery confirmation - Temando, Inter Parcel and Smart Send.
Does AusPost or any of these companies offer a service where they can pick up all of these items from home? How would safe packaging work?
Thanks again...

Have you used them yourself?
Have they actually done any deliveries....it does not appear so from their website. And some of those drivers look a bit suspect...they do not even use their own names.
Not for me, I'm afraid.

You can try and see if pack & send works for you. They are not showing up in Temando so you need to go to the Pack & Send website to check their rate.
I have just checked one parcel with its size and weight and their rate is less than the lowest one showing in Temando. They are asking $14.90 for 80x20x10cm package with weight of 2kg from VIC to WA while the cheapest one in Temando is $18.53 There is $13.52 in Temando with Couriers Please in a 5kg satchel but I have no idea why they offer it. I do not think you can fit 80cm long 20cm wide box into a 5kg satchel.

Depending on where you are I suppose but I have used transdirect amny times and have never had a problem with them, transdirect.com.au. I am just trying to find how i can include their postage calculator in my listings atm
