Damaged by AustPost - what to do?

Hi,

I've sold a set of phone screen protectors and the buyer has indicated they were severly bent by AuistPost during transit. He supplied a photo which certainly looks like the postie was bloody careless. Anyway, buyer is asking for replacements. There was no insurance, and I don't see how I should be liable for AustPost carelessness. The items were packaged appropriately, and postage was free - I'm making a very small margin on these items and can't supply replacements without losing money on the deal.

What should I do?

Cheers,

I've already stated my opinion. I have no need to state it over and over and over again.

How typical that the refund the buyer advocates earlier in the thread all go quiet now ......

You can't have it both ways catspjs  Smiley Happy

I have seen you post many times before telling posters that if a topic doesn't interest them any more then they should just stop posting on that thread, and now you question why some of the earlier posters aren't posting here !!!!  Smiley Frustrated  They have lost interest in this thread and are doing as you have asked on many occasions before.

e.g. the now 'defunct' thread that many referred to as the "negs for buyers" thread ! (from catspjs post #155 of that thread "Dear oh dear  ?:smileyindifferent: some posters seem to have a compulsion to post on threads that they have no interest in, or are annoyed about, for goodness sake if you are one of these simply ignore it !!! "  and from post #162 "If other posters are not interested in this thread or the poll, then ignore it." )

Some (but not I Smiley Very Happy ) might think you are just wanting an argument, and in the absence of dissenting views, you are baiting them with the post quoted above.

Please get your analysis of my post straight mate

I posted to this thread for a range of reasons, including ....

... so others could see that following advice from a number of posters on some matters, including refunds, is not always advisable....

... I also thought some might like add the OPs serial pest to their list  ...

so I posted an observation regarding those posters that were pushing OP to refund...

so room3 think its a bid sad you refer to an entirely unrelated post I made in another thread ....
