The prats that designed the listing pages have decided I can't actually enter my location anymore and instead can only use my postcode which then incorrectly displays my location as The Hunter.
As I am selling a pick up only item this will severely restrict the number of locals looking at my item.
ebay have the INCORRECT location, what a bunch of prats.
I can be reported and sanctioned for putting in a false location but these ebay fools can do it to me and I can't do a thing about it.
My item is located on the Central Coast NOT The Hunter.
I wish I could say what I really think of these <bleeps>.

Yep, still not functioning.
I have been so lazy over the last couple of weeks but will get on the job of finding emoticons tonight.

I am on the Central Coast too. Some of my listings had Sydney on them and I was just able to change these to Central Coast NSW. Go to Active Listings - bulk edit - select Item Location - and type what you want and then Save.

Tuck that is a rude thing to say - not many people understand the meaning of the word 'prat' and there are many meanings, bad and good - used very often by english people, including me

I once phoned eBay and told them I was in Canberra -- they responded, 'Yes, that's in Sydney.'

haha, I guess they figure that is a close guess.
None of these online sites are shining lights when it comes to accuracy with locations. I don't know why not, it can't be so hard if google maps can do it.
But on gumtree recently I had a western suburbs items showing as less than 3 km away from me (it was more like about 43km away).
On Seek, it listed a job in Werribee as being in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I was so taken with this I made a screen shot as I couldn't believe my eyes.
They're hopeless, the whole bunch of them.

At least they are all consistently useless.
