I am wondering because I have been selling beanies for a couple of months now, but when I search it seems that items from sellers with stores seem to come up more frequently than mine do. Does anyone know if store items come up more often than non-store items?
Thanks

I have been waiting for someone to answer this. I have a store but also want to know how to get greater visibility.
Any tips would be much appreciated.

When I'm listing new items, I find the sales increase. I always try to leave two hours between listing each item, so the new listings are always 'active'.
Problem is, you can't list new items all the time.

they will come up higher on the page view if the buyers happen to be using 'Best Match' instead of newly listed or ending soonest etc....
also if they have repeat buyers on their GTC listings, say they offer 25 identical beanies, at $10 each, for 30 days, and only 15 sell, using GTC, the other 10 will roll over for another 30 days and have higher visibility because of the frequency the seller sells that particular item / style.

OP.... the other advice here ( fresh listings etc ) if followed will
give you better prominence in search.
The only reason I personally kept a store was for GTC listings
because these have allowed me to display how many items I have sold
on each multiple item listing.
GTC & Mark Down Manager are the only pro's.
Search prominence has nothing to do with owning a store.
The only other aspect to consider is that you may not qualify
for TRS Status ( but I am not certain of this ).
