Ebay of course, and no chance in hell.

eBay buying guides are often written by members and will clearly show the author at the top.

And as mentioned, eBay also write them.

If you have suggested amendments then you could message that eBay member.

The member who wrote a guide is shown at the top left.

There is an ebay logo and clickable link that takes you to a member profile for "ebayguides" - I presume this is an official staff member, as user names with 'ebay' in them are not permitted otherwise.

Can't say if they'll respond or update the info, though. The guides section also includes this disclaimer: "Buying guides and reviews are a subjective information source. eBay does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of any buying guides or reviews published on http://www.ebay.com.au/gds. Before purchasing a product, buyers are encouraged to review the information provided by the seller or manufacturer of the product."

thanks for your reply. As there is no authors name at the top of the one I was reading it seems that it was written by eBay? Getting to change that will be fun I expect.

You also mention that they have been discontinued - but they are readily available - you can even locate them easily with a google search.
