Does having a professional listing template increase sales?

Thinking of paying for a custom mate listing and store template, anyone think this actually helps with sales? Anyone able to recommend a decent company to go through with a decent price?

They are reasonabily cheap for what they provide you with.

They allow some customisation in terms of images and colours. You canprovide your own logo or they will create a basic text one for you.

I feel that a nice store and listing layout increases trust from buyers as it makes you look like a more professional business.

Why pay anyone when there are thousands of free ebay auction templates and template design sites if you use google to find them.

I use robshelp.com, he has a free service that allows you to use ready made templates or very easily create your own and you can store up to 10 of them on line fee of charge. If you combine that with Turbo Lister you can have as many templates as you want and just change the specifics for each different listing.

He has excellent customer support and allways answers any questions quickly (allowing for the time difference, he is in the US) and in an easy to understand way.

Keep it simple, remember many folks are browsing on their phones these days.  Many dont go past title, gallery pics and description box, completly ignoring body of listing.

You get what you pay for... Most of the free templates are basic and don't look very nice. They are ok for the small casual seller but if you are doing a serious business it is well worth paying for a proper customised template.

How does one actually upload a customized template for an ebay store, as well as in each individual listing description?

I've had a developer design my template but we're unsure how to get it on ebay..
