Dont want P & H,just pickup by buyer only-How do i select this option

Assuming that you're using the ebay "sell your item" form

In the postage area ie "Add postage details", the first line is "domestic postage". Just below that should be a box, with a little arrow so that you can select different options within it. You want to use the arrow to make the last option appear "No postage: local pickup only".

Note that you'll still have to offer  a "safe" payment method (probably paypal unless you've got paymate) but you can put something in your description to say that you recommend cash on pick up after the buyer has inspected the item.  Resist the urge to tick "cash on delivery" as a payment method, this refers to AP's service whereby you pay for postage and item when you collect it from the post office.

To add, there is now a "pay on pick up" you can select.

Also can only offer PayPal as safe method on a new account. Once established, can then offer one of the 3 safe methods.

Or they can turn up at your house to collect and pay by paypal.

If you do not list local pickup under your postage options and only expensive freight - then you may well lose your local buyers who only see freight option under postage. 

There are a number of buyers who only glance at descriptions - so you should not rely on a listing description and payment method alone to promote that your preference is pick up - its best used in post option.
