Dropshippers/3rd party fulfillment sellers seem to be using a new courier often & they are quite bad

Full disclaimer, I care about my money and I don't mind buying from a drop-shipper or an obvious 3rd fulfillment seller as long as it works that's all that matters. But I hate dealing with them when the sell the same products as me.

I recently got 2 orders both are being masked as fastway couriers on the ebay tracking but really they are using PFlogistics. I think this is good for us aussie sellers because they are horribly bad. My two experiences with them have been they have been very slow and they deliver at weird times. I only just got an order that I placed on the 19th of December.
To give a run down I use P.O. box plus so my items are safe and never lost or delivered to wrong house so all couriers can use that service. For some reason this courier company tried to deliver to a post office on 6pm on a Sunday or 7am on a Saturday? The customer service takes 1-2 weeks to respond to you and gives you really bad replies. Took me till now to get the item and it looks like the same case with the other item. Their google reviews mainly consist of 1 star reviews based on the year they have been running.

I don't know about you guys but it seems as though they are shooting themselves in the foot.

I also use the PO Box Plus service. Sometimes it works well first time, sometimes it doesnโ€™t. I have had a courier refuse to even try and make the delivery because they realised โ€œthe address is a PO and we canโ€™t deliver there.โ€ On these 2 occasions a discussion with the seller explaining the service (which neither had any knowledge of) resulted in deliveries being successfully completed. As you described above I had a courier attempt to deliver at 6pm on a Saturday when the PO was obviously shut. On this occasion the parcel was dropped at their โ€œalternateโ€ delivery option, a nearby newsagent. This was clearly conveyed through their tracking email and something similar must happen often, as there were a lot of parcels at the newsagent when I went to pick up. I donโ€™t know whether during the COVID surge in parcels a lot of inexperienced delivery persons are being employed or whether there is a general ignorance among courier companies of the service. Overall I have found it useful; mostly these are not eBay transactions.

There was no "nearby newsagent" it went back to the depot until i contacted them. and they redirected it to a newsagent

I have no problems with any other courier with P.O. Box plus. but regardless their customer service is horrendous
