Ebay SCAM through Paypal payment?

My paypal account is linked to ebay and was charged $65 this week. The first time contacted Ebay customer service and couldn't find anything related to the charge  then  Ebay advised me to report the problem to Paypal. I reported it to Paypal and was denied. 

Tried to contact Ebay again and customer service checked  and claimed it must not be ebay fee, so it must be a SCAM?  Asked them to have a look at this, and then end the conversation. 

Anyone have come cross this kind of SCAM before?

It's paid to Ebay Marketplace but I don't have any store subscription.

Look in eBay account to see if a charge appears there and what it is for.

If nothing, then your PayPal account may have been used or hacked and contact PayPal.
