Ebay announces new, revamped Store packages... what th'?!

Any initial thoughts or reactions to this? Does this basically mean their previous model was a failure?

ummm............no........... it means so many sellers squealed '''give us free listings''  they did! however as we all know NOTHING is free, we just pay in a 'different ' way

I can't remember now, but I think they previously had the basic store fee at $40 per month?

The previous basic store was $24.95. The 'new' basic store fee is $19.95, so back a year, essentially. With the addition of 80 free listings.

Without meaning to sound rude, this change was announced last week and there are at least two current threads on the matter. Why start a new one?

It's all well and good to say 'don't slag off at members when they ask questions', but when the question has been answered ad nauseam, there seems little point in starting YET ANOTHER thread on the (current) topic.

Unlike you, I don't live on this board, so some things mentioned on the days I'm not here escape my attention, and I'm not in the habit of scrolling back several pages to see what on earth I might have missed. I found out about this new store thing tonight when I saw the ad for it on my page.

If you don't like my posts I'm sure you have better things to do than to waste your time reading them and getting all pouty... don't you?

Not wishing to be rude, but I'm pretty sure I could go back a week and not find a day you hadn't posted.

The board posts would stay on the first page for at least a fortnight....

I'm working on you thinking that starting new posts will improve your exposure as, by your own admission, you only post when you have an 'issue' and don't bother seeing if it's already been resolved.

's OK Kustom eBay have actually put a header on the Discussion Board home page so everyone who clicks on Discussion Board will see 😉
