Ebay confirming that a buyer has received a refund.

How the hell is ebay confirming that a buyer has received a refund when the buyer hasn't even paid????? This is what I am waiting to hear from ebay after ebay receives confirmation from the buyer that they have received a refund **bleep**???????

I've got one exactly the same! Buyer hasn't paid, but transaction can't be cancelled yet and I can't relist as ebay is confirming buyer has received refund. They never paid in the first place! I have been waiting 4 days for ebay to confirm this now!

In all my listings I have blocked bidders in place but a few have been allowed to bid which I can't for the life of me understand how they could have bid and then win the auctions,so I had no choice but to request to cancel the transactions which in no doubt I will receive defects for it,the requests have all been put forward and even though it's ebays fault for not stopping these bidders I have been told the buyers still need to agree to cancel otherwise I will not receive my FVFs back,but this is ebays fault not mine and then on top of all that even though it shows that the buyers haven't paid because ebay has put a stop on the buyer from being able to complete the transaction they still tell me they are waiting to hear back from the buyers that they have received their refund, before the cancellation can be processed.Why does ebay need to have this confirmed when clearly they have put a stop to a payment being made?

yep I had problems with this last week. When I did a cancellation at buyers request they sent him an email asking if he had received a refund (he never paid) not knowing what to do after a week he paid then I had to refund just so he could answer the cancellation yes I received a refund.

Ebay said they were going to fix this. Ring and complain to them.

oh and buy the way the cancellation waiting period for no answer is now 10 days not 7. So out items are tied up in limbo before we can relist for 10 days.

You won't believe what's happening now,some of these buyers are saying that they haven't received their refunds even though they haven't paid,unbelievable!!!

OMG! what is going to be the outcome of that? Are Ebay and or PayPal then actually going to give them a refund out of our Pay Pal accounts???OMG - this whole thing is just so scary.
