Ebay is blocking buyers

Just a heads up.

2 messages today from buyers saying they can't buy from me. They have bought before without any problems.

Well sure 😄 , I've lost count of how many times I've seen buyers say they wish Australian sellers would just stop posting items to other Australians, and that they were getting sick of mistakenly buying from Australian sellers, so thank goodness for eBay blocking these transactions even if the seller tries to pull the wool over their eyes by saying they'll post within Australia.

And what buyer didn't wait years for a shopping cart that can only process one item at a time? I know that's what I signed on for, cos I'll be darned if I'll ever want to buy more than one item from anyone and try to access combined postage discounts. 

Also, since it's Christmas and money is getting a bit tight, I'm so relieved eBay crashes every so often and stops me from bidding on auctions I had waited all year to appear (hypothetically, anyway  ). 

Keep up the good work, eBay....

Did you have to pay the FVF if it isn't marked as received.

I had this problem recently also. I had no buyer blocks for unpaid items, yet the buyer could not buy from me despite at least 6 attempts. I checked my buyer requirements carefully, but had no blocks in place. I solved the problem by going to "Account", selecting "site preferences" on the drop down menu, and under "selling preferences" go to "buyer requirements - block buyers who", then on the right hand side of the page on the same line as "block buyers who" click on "edit", and then on the second line down click on "buyer requirements exemption list". Then under the heading "Buyer block exemption list" click on "Add a buyer to my Buyer Block Exemption List", and add the frustrated "blocked" buyer's eBay ID to that list. 

Doing this solved the problem for my inexplicably blocked buyer, and hopefully it will solve your problem also.

I just double-checked and the items are now all marked properly (checkout completed and paid icon filled in), and the FVF on postage has been charged.

I had a weirder one the other day - regular buyer, sometimes uses a phone, other times uses a PC, always pays by bank deposit. They purchased 4 of a single item, not separately either, but by putting 4 in the quantity field then confirming the purchase.

On that item, I have set the postage as all additional items are $0, and it also has my promotional postage discount applied ($0 postage on extra items, so amounts to the same thing), but for the first time I've ever seen, eBay still decided to say postage was x4 on the order details. 

The buyer couldn't complete checkout or mark it as payment sent due to app glitches, but sent payment anyway as they still have all my details. I marked it as payment received and sent the item, but have yet to see the FVF on postage appear (either on what should have been the combined amount, or the amount in the order details).

I do not think ebay blocks buyers!

but if they did then I supposed the buyers were very bad!

not easy to believe this kind of stories, except if there is something  very important we ignore!
