I know this thread is two weeks old, but I finally had a chance and a reason to contact CS Chat on my other id, and copy/paste the transcript below. And if everyone knows the answer already, I'll just go 'oops'. Haven't had time to re read 6 pages.
Me 06:23:31
I've just bulk relisted over 100 items. What I wanted to know is- will they all auto relist 3 times, or do I have to revise each one to have them auto relist
Sangeeta A. 06:24:57
Rhonda , I want to inform you that autorelist feature is no more available. ??
Sangeeta A. 06:26:02
it is available for new sellers only ??
Me06:26:55
Well, it is. I've been relisting items on another id today and the auto relist was there. Also on this id I revised a couple - and sure enough the auto relist feature is there. No it is not only available for new sellers. Your policy quite clearly states that it is for NON STORE sellers. (Answering both of the above responses)
Me 06:27:32
As I am NOT a store, the feature is available. So I would appreciate it if you would answer my question.
Sangeeta A. 06:29:04
the new auto relist feature is only available to regular/casual sellers. Regular sellers are sellers that are not registered as a Business, not a PowerSeller or is not subscribed to an eBay Store.
Sangeeta A. 06:29:21
if you are getting this feature then its Ok.
Me06:30:01
That's fine - but please answer my original question.
Sangeeta A. 06:32:02
No, it is not like that the sellers who don't have the store can get this feature !?!
Me06:33:50
Excuse me - but is there some part of my original question that wasn't clear - I'll try again. WITH THE ITEMS I RELISTED TODAY, DO THEY AUTOMATICALLY RELIST 3 TIIMES, OR DO I HAVE TO MANUALLY REVISE EACH ONE TO TICK THE AUTO RELIST.
Sangeeta A. 06:37:09
At the time of relsiting had you ticked the autorelist option if yes it will get autorelsited if not then it will not still we cannot assure because this feature is only for new seller . !?!
Me06:41:07
You have answered my question with the first part of your response. But I will state - the feature is NOT ONLY FOR NEW SELLERS. IT IS FOR ALL SELLERS WHO ARE NOT STORES. eBAY'S POLICY ALSO DOES NOT EXCLUDE POWERSELLERS.
Sangeeta A. 06:42:45
Autorelist feaute is not linked with eBay store . If you don't have store but if you are not new seller you will not get this feature .
Me06:47:35
Okay thanks. This conversation is going no-where. I'm sorry that you do not seem to be able to comprehend what it actually says in eBay's policy. I agree that the feature is NOT AVAILABLE TO STORES, BUT IT IS AVAILABLE TO ALL OTHER SELLERS. There are no other exclusions (except Stores) for sellers to be able to avail themselves of this feature.
Me06:50:10
Actually just re-reading your response above, you have not REALLY answered my question. As I have bulk re-listed will the auto relist 3 times be there, or do I have to revise and tick the box one by one
moonlighting00 06:52:40
Are you still there? I'm waiting for your response.
Sangeeta A. 06:53:11
The auti relist option goes away if you are upgraded to a regular seller !?!
Sangeeta A. 06:54:01
But if you've bulk relisted now
Me 06:54:25
Will you please ANSWER THE QUESTION. Or if you don't know the answer, please say so.
Sangeeta A. 06:54:31
You don't have to do anything , if you had selected the auto relist option
Sangeeta A. 06:54:49
If you didn't then you'd have to visit every listing one by one and make the change
Sangeeta A. 06:56:28
No rush, but I would just like to check if I still have you on the line. Are you still with me?
Me 06:57:27
Hey it took you long enough to answer me!!! Why on earth has it taken so long to get the answer to my original question. Unbelievable!!!
Sangeeta A. 06:58:29
Please let me know which part of your question is unanswered?
Me 07:02:09
You finally got around to it. Your response two sentences above would have answered my question right at the beginning. There wasn't any need to go through the 'new seller' 'not for stores' etc bit. Our conversation could have been ended in one minute instead of the 15 minutes it has taken.
Except it was actually half an hour...!!!
And I now assume that if you/me/anyone had previously ticked the auto relist it will automatically happen again when you relist those items.
But if listings were not ticked intitially, and a bulk relist takes place, then unfortunately each item would have to be revised and the box ticked.
Oh, and the !?! are mine.

I can not believe how awful this company called eBay is.
If there is One thing that is consistent with eBay, is the poor short sighted decisions that they make.
Small wonder the sales are dropping like a brick, but their CEO seems to think that if revenue drops, then more fees must be gouged.
I think that the decisions made recently, are destroying the company... EVERYBODY hates them!!! me included!!!
The long term prospectus for a company with no customer loyaly, is dire.
For the moment, they think they have a monopoly, but the market is shifting rapidly, and sellers are fleeing in record numbers to the other methods of selling, Amazon, ali baba, and the recent selling feature, being developed through Facebook...
I will show eBay the same loyalty that they show me... None
Fee avoidence and email transactions from previous sales... there are plenty of ways to minimise fees, and it is now becoming essential to engage in all of them.

This relates to a lack of 3 free relists, how?
Or a thread that hasn't had a post on it for almost 2 years...?
