Getting sick of customer threats with negative feedback

Although I know there is some geniune 'parcels not received' or we would of messed up somewhere its only human I am getting sick of the customers purchasing and contacting me after a month to tell me item not received...Get this...buyer same state but contacts me after a month and a half to tell me to send their item or they will leave me negative feedback...REALLY??? 1. you are not wanting to pay the extra for registered post then you let me know after a month and a half? and this is your first email to me...I think that is really plain rude.

 

Or how about the ones that do not even communicate with me and the first I hear about it is on my feedback??? Well please note, if you buy from me and not communicate with me I will just block you from future buys...How about that???

 

Just wanted a bit of venting...

If the threats of neg feedback are via ebay messages then IF the buyer leaves neg feedback you might be able to get it removed for feedback extortion.

 

As for a buyer not wanting to pay the extra for signature required post, why should they as that is for the sellers protection not theirs.

Registered is your protection and paypal is the buyers.

 

If you are posting anything at all that is posted as a small parcel or bigger then you are given a receipt of lodgement with a tacking number on it. Keep that receipt as it is proof of postage if they open a dispute for item not received.

If a buyer claims item not received enter that number intyo the AP site to see if it shows a delivered and go from there.

I have never taken any notice of any threats about leaving negs, my ebay decisions are based on me doing what I consider right and I make a decision when I send something that I either send with seller protection or I refund without question if the buyer says the item has not arrived. I also would not find it particularly strange if it was six weeks before they ask where the parcel is, I have just realised that I need to open a dispute as the 45 days is nearly up and I had forgotten about it as I was prepared to wait at least four weeks as it was from overseas. Indeed members are often given that very advice on these boards that they may as well wait a while before opening a dispute as they have 45 days.

Dont get me wrong, I rather do what I feel is right too and cop the negative feedback if I have to. Its just frustrating when you hear back from someone after a month and they say send my item or I will leave negative feedback...and at the end of the day if they genuinely have not received it or we have messed up we will own up to it. I just found it rude and had to vent...sorry guys better here than the customer lol...Tracking is not always reliable. Two orders street box posting same day. Both statuses one received but status is manifested and one not received status manifested...This is where customer needs to realise we do not travel with their parcel. I have had to resort to street box posting last month and a it but for sure the post office lodgement is worth it...

And I will send another one out although their 45days has passed but I just found it strange if you buy something you wait so long especially when you are in the same state. so far I have been blessed with so many nice customers, its just that 1 in many that put you in a bad weekend mood...Anyway over it...thanks guys ๐Ÿ˜‰
