Guess Who's Back in Business?

The main account of that person with the several shill bidding accounts that we uncovered last month, selling the Nepalese paintings, has had her main account reinstated. She is now selling across 2 accounts and her account that wasn't closed down has quite a few shill bidders going crazy. As usual, no amount of reporting to eBay is making any difference. They just don't want to know with this one and are quite happy to let her defraud innocent buyers.

Guess Who's Back in Business?

Sheep, I suspect that my own file on this seller and her alternate and shilling IDs is as large as eBay's now, if not even larger, and mine contains more than sufficient evidence to suggest that not only has she breached eBay's rules on countless occasions during the last 2 or 3 months, but that she appears to have done so with complete impunity and (dare I suggest it) eBay's blessing (or at least they've completely turned a blind eye to what she's been up to). She must be generating an awfully large amount of fees for eBay to have done that.

Given that it's mostly the same few bidders that are winning everything and none appear to be leaving her any feedback, I wonder whether each sale ends in a cancellation, which means eBay gets nothing except the insertion fee she would be paying for having auctions with a store. (sorry, that was an awfully long sentence!!)

It continues to amaze me chooks that Lithium is more than capable of shutting down threads, removing posts and giving out slaps - yet it appears they don't have the time or the inclination to pick up the phone / send an email to eBay and alert them to the flagrant breaches of policy that have been exposed on these boards, and I'm not referring just to the ongoing shill bidder problem.

T&S need to take a very hard look at the way they doing (or more to the point not doing) their job to ensure eBay is a safe and fair place to conduct online business............................because if they don't then there will certainly be someone else that will offer an online trading platform that will do just that.
